So what will Ready Steady Go Kids teach your littlies about golf? Firstly, we’ll focus on the right grip to use when holding a club. We’ll then move onto the importance of keeping your head down, eyes on the ball and maintaining the right posture in order to create the best swing. Before you know it, you’ll see your little girl or fella hitting the golf ball with the club and sending it flying down the fairway– FORE! The kids will also get a shot at putting at targets and even have a go on our own custom-designed mini golf course. Look out Tiger Woods!
And now to
hockey…if there’s an aspiring Hockeyroo or Kookaburra in the Ready Steady Go
Kids ranks, time will soon tell!
Ready Steady Go Kids bases our hockey training on the street version of the sport – a puck is used instead of a ball and a long hockey stick is tucked under the arm. This version of hockey is much safer for your little nippers but still equips them with the fundamental skills of the game. Our training will commence with familiarising the kids with the hockey stick and puck followed by the general rules of the game. They’ll then be taught how to use their hand-eye co-ordination and gross motor skills to dribble the puck, push pass and shoot into the goals.
So that’s
what’s on the agenda for the two weeks, no matter what the weather has planned
(our classes are held indoors.) We’re sure you’ll enjoy watching your child
learn all about golf and hockey and promise we keep our training areas safe for
littlies and spectators alike.
So if you
haven’t already enrolled your child into a Ready Steady Go Kids program, why
not do it now? We’d love you to be part of the fun we have lined up for the
next fortnight!
